The 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri in Torrita di Siena is honoured with a program of initiatives that extends for three days and includes Sinalunga and Radicofani. The event, organized with the collaboration of local cultural associations, takes place from 12 to 14 November 2021 and is entitled “Dante in the lands of Ghino di Tacco”.
Ghino di Tacco, who lived in the second half of the thirteenth century in the territory of Torrita, Sinalunga and Radicofani, and was mentioned by Dante in Canto VI of Purgatorio, is the leitmotif of the various events. On the occasion, the Locanda Ghinditacco presents Settecento, the beer created in honor of the celebrations for Dante.
